Byzantine, gilt bronze.  Showing its Roman roots with narrow (1.5mm) low rounded band. Raised thickened oval bezel with slightly domed face. Textured from burial with remnant of decoration (?) to the top. Rare large size. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
