This burlap sack features Auiberge Le Vieux Saint Gabriel, in central Old Montreal.  The inn was the first to receive a liquor license in Canada, in 1754 and continues in operation today. It measures 18.5" high x 12" wide.  I don't know what it held but there are some tears and one side of the bag was cut open at one time.  If anyone knows what this would have held, feel free to send me a message!

Note that the colors in the first and last photo are the most accurate.
