This auction is for one patch only. The photos of the book and pages are for reference only.

Very nice original US Navy ship patch from the USN Seventh Fleet, also known as the "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club". Great looking Japanese made embroidery. You can see that the letters at the top were yellow threads, and have been darkened by hand so that they would be more visible on the light background. This patch came in a large group of patches from one person, unfortunately they were not named to the exact person but I have helped to narrow it down. Several of those patches were from the USS Duncan destroyer, DDR-874. The last 5 photos showing the book and screenshots of pages are for REFERENCE ONLY, this auction is only for one patch. The cruise book photos show the names of 12 sonar techs on the Duncan 1967 Far East Cruise that these patches could have been from. Other patches from the group are dated 1966-67.
