ANTIQUE ENGLISH EAGLE FIGURAL REPOUSSE 
SILVER PLATE TEA & COFFEE SET WITH TRAY



Description:

Wow. Stunning English tea & coffee set that was part of 
my late grandmother's estate, probably one of her most 
cherished. I had a difficult time finding the maker in my 
research but this may be an Ellis Barker/Barker Bros set. 
Very ornate design that is rich with details not often found 
on other silver plate sets. I especially love the eagle finials 
that sit on top of the pitchers, but everywhere you look there 
is something to catch your eye. Note the open eagle mouths 
& old men's faces on the pitcher spouts...nice touch. All pieces 
feature art nouveau style repousse florals, scrolled handles and
raised feet. All pieces numbered on bottom with "NC75462"
 so this is a matching set.

Condition:
Very good condition for its age. This set was, indeed, well loved 
& actually used. It did not sit hidden away in a cabinet just 
looking pretty. Therefore, there are some marks throughout - 
namely scratches & dark spots. I did not notice any large dents
or dings, however, and all the pieces are intact & working properly. 
The eagle mouth on the coffee pitcher is more closed than on the 
other pitcher - I wasn't sure if this was intentional or a defect 
so I left it as is. I documented this & what I considered the most 
noticeable of the flaws in the last 4 pics. Please look at all pics carefully 
and feel free to message me if you would like additional pics. 
Since this is a vintage/antique item, some imperfections are to be 
expected and as such, no returns.

Shipping:
This is a large, impressive set with the tray alone weighing in 
at 14 lbs. It will be costly to ship so I tried to take that into 
consideration when pricing this. If you live in or around the 
Charlotte, NC area, you're welcome to pick up at no cost.
