We picked up a pretty large collection of slides from the 1960s to the early 1970s several years ago and just put them in one of the closets in the house. We got the collection form a lady who worked for and retired from the Red Cross. She moved to Korea before the Korean War and before it was split into North and South Korea. She later moved to Vietnam during the Korean War before moving back home to the states and retiring from the organization. There are some really cool slides in here of some from throughout North Africa, Asia and the United States. We will be listing them in the days and weeks ahead, so if you're a collector, feel free to check out our inventory as we keep adding slides.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is a really cool 35mm slide of a large estate or castle behind a row of houses, dated April 1966.

This slide is a really cool shot of what we believe would be a castle, but it could be a very large estate, behind a row of townhouses and houses on a river bank. We got several rolls of slides all dated April 1966. Most were of Italy, but some were of France. This shot was among the rolls marked Italy, so we assume it would've been taken there, but we could be incorrect. In any case, it's a killer shot and we trust someone with more knowledge than us would know exactly where this shot was taken.

The slide is in excellent, undamaged condition and ready to be turned into a photograph if desired.

PLEASE NOTE: Our lighted table doesn't have a very strong light, so the slide isn't as bright as it is when lit by a stronger light, such as in a projector. However, the slide is quite a bit brighter than shown in the pictures.

This slide will be shipped in a padded envelope via media mail with the USPS. We wrap all our items that ship in padded envelopes in cardboard for extra protection during shipping.
