We picked up a pretty large collection of slide from the 1960s to the early 1970s several years ago and just put them in one of the closets in the house. We got the collection form a lady who worked for and retired from the Red Cross. She moved to Korea before the Korean War and before it was split into North and South Korea. She later moved to Vietnam during the Korean War before moving back home to the states and retiring from the organization. There are some really cool slides in here of some from throughout North Africa, Asia and the United States. We will be listing them in the days and weeks ahead, so if you're a collector, feel free to check out our inventory as we keep adding slides.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is a pair of 35mm slides of two of the Roman Triumphal Arches in Rome, Italy, both dated April 1966.

These slides include a great shot of the Arch of Janus and a really cool shot of the Arch of Constantine at the end of a long street leading to and from the arch with several cars and lined with trees on both sides of the street.

The slides are in excellent, undamaged condition and ready to be turned into photographs if desired.

PLEASE NOTE: Our lighted table doesn't have a very strong light, so the slides aren't as bright as they would be when lit by a stronger light, such as in a projector. However, the slides are quite a bit brighter than shown in the pictures.

These slides will be shipped in a padded envelope via media mail with the USPS. We wrap all our items that ship in padded envelopes in cardboard for extra protection during shipping.
