Israel: "Steimatzky's Pictoral Map of Jerusalem", August 1949 edition. Originally published in 1941, it underwent a revision in 1949 for which the armistice lines between Israel and [Trans]Jordan were added, and the phrase "Made in Palestine" was blocked out & replaced by "Made in Israel". Drawn by Shlomo Ben David and originally printed by Offset Bezalel, this 1949 edition was printed by Monson Press in Jerusalem - probably the first definitive map of Jerusalem after the War of Independence published by a leading firm as Steimatzky's.
