He began work at Smith-Corona Typewriters as a ceiling painter, became a tool inspector, then, head of personnel. He was a leader in Groton^s activities, a photographer, and a vibraphonist. He wrote a weekly column for the Groton Journal and Courier in the 1960s. His topics ranged from family to factory, trivia to tribute, and solitude to celebration. |
