Sewing bee's tip, I been told that if you put velvet fabric on a tumble dryer, the creases will disappear, unfortunately I don't have a tumble dryer to try!
Better to try on a velvet you are not worry just in case!
this is a generic tip, I thought it maybe useful, I tend to use a steam iron on the back of the fabric to erase the creases,
Good size remnant for oblong cushions, lampshades, draft excluders etc,
