I've been using this preamp along with an Anthem MCA 20 power amplifier and a tablet as source to listen to music for the last few weeks and I see why people like these types of hybrid preamplifier.  There is a little more musical detail and warmer sound.

This pre-amp does not have Phono input, you will need an external unit to run your turntable.
