knit in the 1950s in southern Europe both pieces feature knitted vibrant blue and red flowers framed in oval glass.  one has has a dark black velvet like oval inside gold painted wood. The other one is the same but is dark wine red color.  The glass frame in the black one has a nick on the glass the size of a pea. Please note the knitted art underneath is unaffected. The frames themselves are vintage and the pieces were framed on the same day some time in the early 1950s in Greece.
