This is one of the fun and richly colorful plates holiday plates Peggy Karr has done for her Christmas collection of spectacular colored fused glass.  The deep blue of the night sky is sprinkled with stars that sparkle over the friendly woodland snowman who is surrounded by his friends the deer, cardinals and bunny.  Mr. Snowman sports a decorated black top hat and a red and orange striped scarf.  His carrot nose is right in place above his charcoal smile and black buttons.  Charming and whimsical, the design, colors and story of this plate are delightful. Besides being a wonderful decorative piece, this large tray is fully useable for serving and can be easily cleaned.
