Fits direct into place on classic SU carbs. To fit remove the air filter and fit these instead - you should be able to reuse the fastenings holding the old filter or filter box on. A new gasket is supplied (as per last 2 pics). Ideally you should re-tune the carb(s) - and further ideally should be combined with a freeflow manifold and exhaust - the power liberated will be noticeable.

Correct fitment for twin carbs on Triumph Spitfire 1500.You are buying one - you will probably need two of you are fitting fitting these pipes for the first time rather than replacing a lost/damaged one.

Note that these are designed to be used in place of (not as well as) a bolt on air filter...and have a gauze to prevent intake of flies, gravel etc. However I have seen people also use them to good effect in conjunction with a Pipercross or K+N sock type filter
