I was fortunate to acquire this amazing bike during a trip to Italy earlier in 2023, direct from Battaglin Headquarters in Marostica. All I've done thus far is look at it, take some photos and keep it safe. I don't see myself riding it, so I would rather sell it someone who may enjoy it. The bike is new, stunning in the sunlight, and stands out from the crowd of bland big name carbon bikes that everyone else rides. Also, rim brakes!

This beautiful Portofino was built as 0 of 99, mostly to test some processes of applying Cromovelato like paint to handlebars, Campy brake levers, etc. It is a one-off bike, which is like most Battaglin bikes these days. Columbus steel tubing and oversized steel lugs, which is custom drawn, etc, for Battaglin.

The only changes I have made since obtaining the bike are swapping the Conti 5000 tires to American Classic tubeless Timekeeper, only for the tan sidewall look, and substituted the black Record Skeleton brakes for these photos (see notes below). I will likely install the Conti tires with tubes to whomever decides to buy this bike, and re-install the original black Record Skeleton brakes.

Top Tube - 53.5cm (should work for riders who prefer 54 - 54.5)

Head Tube - 14cm

Seat Tube Center to Top - 53cm

Handlebars Outside to Outside - 46cm (which is a little odd on this size), but they match the bike perfectly.

Stem - 105mm

Campy Record 11 Speed, everything is new, 172.5mm cranks (50/34 Chainrings), 11-27 cassette. Note, the sale will include new Record Skeleton brakes in Black, that were fitted to the bike from Battaglin. I preferred the silver look, and kept the brakes on for these photos.

I believe the color matched carbon seatpost is by Deda Elementi, with at least 20mm of setback, 27.2mm, and plenty long enough to raise, and short enough to lower and still see that beautiful Cromovelato-like paint.

Wheels are Deda Elementi SL 48 Carbon, they are Tubeless compatible and fitted with Enduro Ceramic bearings.

Saddle is by Selle San Marco, Short Fit. Deda computer mount to connect to the stem is included with the auction.

King Titanium bottle cages are NOT included with the sale.
