POSTER STAMPS BREEDS DACHSHUND BULLDOG SCOTTISH SHEEPDOG BOXER St BERNARD TOBLER

 

This is a marvellous set of 12 poster stamps (n. 625 – n. 636) edited by Swiss firm Chocolat Tobler. The set represents series n.53 published by Tobler in the 1920’s.

The stamps with text in English were inserted inside the chocolate plates between the wrapper and the aluminium foil for children to collect them.

The collection is complete which add to the extreme difficulty of having all of them stay together after almost a century of age. The stamps are made of thin paper with dimension 1.6 x 2.2 inches. Traces of difficult readable text on the back of the stamps.
