This is a rare vintage Santa Claus Red Large Bulb Father Christmas Tungsten Japan Antique 1920-30's. The bulb is in Superb almost mint condition and is very rare!!! The bulb has no chips or cracks. Marked Tungsten Japan.
The Edison Base Santa Claus Figural Christmas Light Bulb 120V 40W Christmas figural light bulb was made in Japan in the 1920s to early 1930s. It has thick and heavy clear frosted painted glass. What few of these are still available, all have paint loss from their age. This large bulb and fits a standard light socket. Santa is dressed in red and holds a Christmas tree with painted toys on front. The metal threads are marked "HK 120V 40W Tungsten Japan".
