Optics work well. Mother of pearl has a lovely even lustre. Gilt shows light wear .
Odor free, no smells of dampness, mildew, etc. A good solid set.
A double shot of mother of pearl, on both the outer and inner tubes. Marked with the bee, 61, Made in France, The "Made in France", as opposed to just "France" suggests a date after 1914.
Last picture shows another set from the same ladies estate. Both are very nice!
