Please pardon the drip of wax I missed before this went from my table to the photographer - I have used this superb 19th century French 4-branch candelabrum for 30 years at home. It elevates a dining table, lights a side table, gives height and interest to my coffee table with my antique French box collection. It has been well-loved, and it's time for it to find its next perfect place at your home. Neoclassical in design, it is made as a raised amphora vase with gilded metal flowers - roses, which are the candle holders. Creamy white tapers to Christmas candles - they've all been more beautiful in this heavy French beauty. 

Very good to excellent condition throughout, age and type considered. There are no chips nor hairlines or cracks to the heavy alabaster plinth nor amphora 'vase', and the metal has no breaks apparent, either. The 4 candle holders are jogged in height so the candles are dramatic, interesting. I have a variety of glass bobeche we use, depending on the table. You can find clear inexpensive ones at most craft or hardware stores. An aged patina with highlights in gold. Raised on 3 bronze feet, it's very sturdy, no looseness.

Insurance has been eliminated as an option by ebay, forcing us sellers to either ship your items without insurance or assume that expense also. We always insure our items BUT, more importantly, pack them extremely well knowing that most are not replaceable. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is received (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.
