Description:    The master terminals are programmed in IEC 61131-3, CoDeSys, and take over all control functions in the system.


System design:
For I/O expansion, the master terminals can be equipped directly with expansion modules on the back.
The control units of the Panel 72X design have slots on the back for mounting expansion modules: 2x EWB 70X or 1x EWB 71X or 1x EWB 72X
Up to 125 CAN I/O modules can be connected to the CAN bus for expansion.

Communication:    With the standard interfaces RS 232, RS 485 and CAN, a universal connection to other devices is possible, e.g. Modbus RTU, OPC servers, as well as CAN components with CAN protocol.
Web capability:    With the built-in web server, process data can be visualized and controlled with any standard web browser on the PC. Data exchange can take place via TCP/IP, FTP, UDP as well as via Modbus TCP Master / Slave.

Programm-Update:    A program update is possible as standard via RS232, Ethernet, FTP or USB memory stick.

Memory expansion:    An SD card serves as an expansion memory, which can be used for trend recording, for example.

Program Protection:    Software retrieval of a customer-specific registration number in the hardware ensures program protection.
