One measures 7 3/8" and fits opening of 6 1/4" This lid has a few very small flea bite chips on edge inside, rough spot on outside edge

The other measures 9" and fits opening of 8". This lid has NO flea bites or cracks but has a rough spot on outside edge too.

Remember these are the older first lids that didn't always have a smooth edge on them like the newer ones do.
