Rocaille armchair dating back to the 1850s-70s.
In full Louis XV style, characterized by wavy lines, curved legs ending in a ram's head and carved decorations.
Of French origin, this seat is made entirely of walnut wood.
The armchair is in good condition, very solid, shows signs of ancient restorations.
Probably in the 1940s-50s the original spring padding was replaced with a more practical and comfortable foam rubber one.
