Scranno Neorinascimentale Chair Throne Legs on Seed Twist Wood Nut Velvet 1800

Beautiful neo-Renaissance seat from the Umbertine era dating back to between 1870 and 1890.

Made of solid walnut wood turned and carved by hand.

The green velvet upholstery and spring padding are original.

The legs are twisted (classic structure of the 16th century widely taken up at the end of the 19th century) and are enriched with vegetal carvings that fill the spirals.

In the upper part of the backrest there is a carved decoration of acanthus leaves of fine workmanship which gives importance to the chair.

The finish is shellac.

The chair is in good condition, solid and ready to use.

The only noticeable flaw is the lack of a piece of molding under the seat on the right side as visible in the photos.
