What a stunning, colorful flapper robe of tissue-thin pongee silk from the 1920s! The fabric is light as a feather and features a landscape of temples, flowers, and bridges in red, dark and light blue, pink, green, and gold on an ecru background. The front contains Japanese writing that translates to "many flowers."

Measurements:

Top to bottom = back 42", front 40"
Sleeves = 13"

Condition: There are tiny holes near the hem on the left side and a small mend under the left armpit (see photos). Not too bad for a delicate robe 100 years old!

Thank you for looking.
