Lovely little stoneware jars from the Victorian era, would have contained cream.

Use as vases to display individual stems, or just as display pieces. Great as little rustic groupings

Handmade and glazed in a lovely earthy brown colour, see photos for detail as they are all slightly different from each other. The glaze is very reminiscent of chocolate! No cracks in any of them

All in good condition for age. So many of these went to landfill as from around 1880 it became uneconomical to reuse old materials. Therefore councils started paying to have rubbish dumped in landfill. This short window continued until around 1914 when manufacturing became much more industrialised.
