TUV PL-S lamps offer almost constant UV output over their complete lifetime, for maximum security of disinfection and high system efficacy. The OSRAM TUV series ultraviolet sterilization lamps operate in the ultraviolet UV-C band, with the strongest sterilization power in the range of 250-270nm. Due to the resonance spectrum line of mercury being 2537A, this sterilization tube can generate 253.7nm ultraviolet light, causing denaturation of bacterial and viral DNA and RNAV, and preventing cell proliferation.
