Antique metallic thread in silvers, & golds circa 1920's. Perfect combo for crafting , fly tying, hand embroidery or other wonderful things.

These antique threads are made of real metal & were made in France a zillion years ago. We wound from big spools onto baby ones to be able to give you a variety.

The spools may vary in style as we sell out of a style but will always in the colors shown. The spools vary in length from 8 yards of the widest to 60 yards of the thinnest. Included are flat, round, plate, ovals etc.

The thread is great for hand work, collages, crafting but is NOT strong enough to be used on a machine!

This item is original antique stock from the archives of Tinsel Trading, in NY, which was founded by my grandfather in 1933. I am constantly adding ribbons, trims, tassels, cords, fringes and more, some dating back as far as 1880's.
