This green Jefferson postal card is a "Sovereign Clerk's Official Receipt" from the Woodmen Of The World (WoodmenLife)-- headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska-- to a member, or associate, in Tennessee.

The postal card was postmarked in February of 1917 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and sent to Decatur, Tennessee, in Meigs County..

After the years the postcard may show some typical wear, such as errant markings or minor scuff marks.

PLEASE review the scans carefully and then purchase confidently.

For a domestic mailing, I'll send your item free of charge with standard first class shipping within the United States. In the effort to keep our costs down, I tend to trust our postal service and it works out great "99.9%" of the time. Moreover, in my experience "ephemera enthusiasts" are a great community of people who are collaborative and don't take advantage of each other; therefore, I typically do not feel the need to drive up your costs so that I can later prove successful delivery-- I trust you. However, if you want to purchase certified mail services (includes tracking), then please send me a message so that we can make arrangements.

I collect, trade, and sell ephemera because it's interesting and fun. If I'm selling something that you'd like to own but you perceive that my asking price is just too high for your taste or budget, then please offer me "a deal I can't refuse." I like it best when everybody gets what they want.

Thanks for considering this keepsake.
