Adorable pattern for 18"to 19" Girl Dolls Fun Fur Bomber Jacket, Leggings and Fur trimmed Boots.

Fur Jacket knitted in Eyelash Fur wool plus double knitting wool for borders and welt. Leggings knitted in cotton double knitting wool. Boots knitted in double knitting wool with fur trim.

Will fit  Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.

Knitted on size  4.00 mm, 3.50 mm and 3.25 mm needles. 

Great to use up wool from your stash! (50 gm D/k, 50 gm cotton D/k), Plus you will need a 50 gm ball pf Patons Whisper or similar.

This Bomber Jacket is not for the faint hearted! Although the jacket pattern itself is easy, (knitted in one piece from the neck down), I found that working with eyelash wool means you can hardly see or count your increased stitches, (I used stitch markers to help out here). Changing to D/K for the borders and welt also adds to the level of complication. I would strongly advise that it's not a pattern to knit in front of the TV!. I managed to find the time to sit quietly, (and undisturbed) and the Bomber jacket was finished in about one hour. If you persevere I'm sure you will feel the end result is well worth the effort. As a bonus you will find the leggings are very easy to knit and the boots are an absolute delight to knit!.

What little girl could want more for her doll? I'm sure she will appreciate the effort.

My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her.
