This is an Medium size Wood Nicho / Retablo / Shadow Box with a handmade diorama of a Chef cooking tacos...  The outer frame is all hand painted with a Skeletons and traditional Mexican dishes...  This fun piece was all handmade and hand painted by a talented artist named Gustavo from Mexico City....

It measures 9 1/4 inches tall by 6 1/3 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep.

This is a contemporary example of a long tradition of retablos.   

There is a loop for hanging on the back.
