Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of storage and may have that military surplus smell.

New U.S. Military wool blend ECW Wallace Beery Extreme Cold Thermal Long John top & bottoms sets Size Medium to Large. These are brand new unworn, non-issued First Quality sets in packaging except the one set shown with a First Quality top and slight Irregular bottoms. Those bottoms are still first quality but with minor thread issues. They are very nice and very warm. Heavyweight 50% Wool, 50% cotton. New in the packaging. These were manufactured by the U.S. Military contractors in the U.S.A. for the U.S. Military.
