How strange that Michener's monograph on the Saturniidae (giant wild silk moths, for lack of a better common name) is a useful work I consulted just last week when identifying some moths. I say that because Mich is now going on 90 years old--and still going strong. All the best to this remarkable entomologist, to his works on Lepidoptera and Hymenoptera, to his readers, and to the insects he studies. ( on line review)
