The Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32 is a compact I/O module. This is a Discrete input module that features high-density input channels which consists of Thirty-Two (32) 24VDC input channels. It is compatible for use with the MicroLogix and CompactLogix controller. It has Four (4) groups of Eight (8) inputs and supports sink / source wiring configuration.

The Allen-Bradley Discrete Input module with catalog number 1769-IQ32 is part of the Compact I/O module family that is compatible for use with MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers. This module especially features high density input channels as it has Thirty-Two (32) 24VDC input channels supporting both sinking and sourcing wiring configuration.

This module has a power supply distance rating of Eight (8) modules. This means that the module must not be installed more than Eight (8) modules away from the power supply. As some CompactLogix controllers support installation of more than Eight (8) Compact I/O modules, applicable power supply unit must be installed to meet the power supply requirement of the 1769-HSC and other Compact I/O modules. The 1769-HSC follows the installation method of the existing CompactLogix rack. When installed in a CompactLogix I/O expansion bank, the same power supply distance rating must be observe.
This module has an operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (32°F to +140°F) and storage temperature of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) with operating humidity of 0°C to +60°C (32°F to +140°F) and operating altitude of 2000 meters (6561 feet). It has an operating vibration rating of 10 to 500 Hz, 5G, 0.030 inches maximum peak-to-peak and operating shock of 30G when panel mounted and 20G for DIN Rail mounted module.
The 1769-IQ32 has a reinforced insulation circuit with an isolation voltage of 75 Volts DC tested at 1697 Volts DC for 1 seconds between the input point and BUS, and between group-to-group (4 groups in total). It has a slot width of 1.5 inches and is installed on either a panel mount or a DIN rail using the specialized 6 lb x inches terminal screws. It has an open-style enclosure rating, is shipped with a replacement door, and has a Type 1+ IEC input compatibility. The 1769-IQ32 is c-UL and CE certified for safe operation in the US, Canada, and Europe. It has a functional temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) at 5 to 95% relative humidity and it will function without de-rating at a maximum altitude of 2000 meters (6561 feet). The 1769-IQ32 weighs 440g (0.97 pounds), and has shipping dimensions of 118x 52.5x 87 millimeters (4.65x 2.07x 3.43 inches).
