Antique Edwardian 1905 Meriden Britannia Company Silverplate Footed Tea Set - Tea Pot, Creamer & Lidded Sugar Bowl - style / pattern No. 2047. This is a rare pattern.

Gorgeous set. Each of the 3 pieces has footed feet and handles with an ornate Edwardian silver plate design and the top rims have a silver plate beaded design. Each piece is hallmarked on the bottom: Made and Guaranteed by Meriden B Company with the company logo and 2047 U.S.A. The lines on each piece, especially the handles, are very Art Deco, although it is an Edwardian period set from 1905. There is some patina / tarnish - a testament to its age. Very well-made and beautiful.

Tea pot has a dark bone (research makes it seem more likely it’s antique bone) or wooden handle and top on its hinged lid. Measures about 8” tall by 11” in length by 8” in width.

Lidded sugar bowl has double silver plate handles. Measures about 6.25” tall by 7.25” in length by 5.5” in width.

Creamer measures about 4.25” tall by 6” in length by 5” in width.
