Description

This is the rare original complete set of Yale University Plates made in 1931 by Wedgwood.  Wedgwood issued a set of College Plates for Yale University originally in 1931 and re-issued it multiple times after that.  This is a set of the original 1931 issue.  There are Twelve different views of the Yale Campus, transfer printed in blue on a 10.75-inch diameter queensware(earthenware) plate, with a floral border.


The plates are in suberb condition. I am not sure if they were ever used.

This is a superb original Antique set, one with great drama and style, and so very hard to find in today's market!    Treat yourself or a loved one to a treasure to cherish for generations and one which will only increase in value over time!
