This Irish Mist gift set from 1961 is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts of Irish whiskey or Waterford Crystal. The set includes an (empty) mini bottle of Ireland's legendary liqueur and a Waterford tippling glass, both in pristine condition. The brand, Irish Mist, is known for its unique blend of whiskey, honey, herbs, and spices, making it an Irish treat for after dinner. The mini bottle and glass set is a great representation of Irish Mist's rich history and heritage. The 1961 print campaign uses the same artwork as on the top of the box. The verbiage on the side of the box indicates there may have been some discrepancy to who the US representative was for the brand as the print ads name another “sole US Representative” than what is on the box. The early 60s in the US saw an uptick in interest of all things Irish because of the Kennedy clan, I suppose many people wanted to be in the Irish business.

This set was discovered at the back of my grandparents’ liquor cabinet when we we’re emptying their house. At that time the bottle was full. But I can’t eBay booze, so we toasted them and I washed out the bottle and put it back with the Waterford (which is unused and still has its pristine Waterford tag. The box is beat up with rubbing on the corners from being shoved in the corner of the liquor cabinet. 60 years waiting for your collection.
