Antique pure cotton gauze Eastern European, (either Romanian or Ukrainian) vyshyvanka peasant blouse, dating from around 1920, embroidered in fine red and cream silk threads. The embroidery on these bouses are usually specific to a paticular smaller ethnic region. The cotton gauze is very fine and quite sheer.

It is in excellent condition with no sigificant flaws at all, just the tiniest hint of a mark here and there as pictured. Remarkable preservation for a very delicate item of this age.
