45 RPM Tampa “Better Man/Brightly as the Sun” JUST ANOTHER RAINBOW ultra rare!!.

THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE LIAM GALLAGHER BAND—this band is 1970’s FLORIDA

I give this a VG+ - it has one scuff area that doesnt really have an effect but is visible - played well on 2 different turntables and no skips etc.  I cannot vouch for your equipment

Im not a professional record grader/seller but my feedback indicates I am pretty accurate and honest with my gradings and packaging. im selling my collection to pay for medical treatments.

I will throw in a reproduction of a gig flyer or news clipping at no charge-I went to college with some of this band so heres a little history.

This early 70’s single out of Tampa FL is so rare even the writer and vocalist Charlotte Wilson does not have a copy! Just Another Rainbow was a staple in the Tampa music scene for MANY years, eventually evolving into bands like Real Eyes and The Headlights (who ended up backing the Byrds Roger McGuinn on Jay Leno)

JAR opened for bands such as Mama’s Pride (Atco) and the Outlaws (Arista)

As this single was VERY EARLY in the band history , Charlotte and I have TRIED to come up with an accurate listing of band members:

Charlotte Wilson -guitar, vocal, songwriter

Steve Connelly -guitar

Ron Long-bass (later replaced by Scott Dempster)

Paul Kelly -guitar, violin, vocals

Bob “Spaceman” Leichtner - drums (later replaced by Jimmy Howell -Space was later long time owner of Dixie Music Center

Curt McCown played keyboard for JAR but does not appear on this release.

Could not find one having listed for sale on Discogs, eBay or any of the reputable vinyl sites

As rare as rare can get!

I do recommend adding additional insurance on collector vinyl.
