This stunning tapestry boasts exquisite craftsmanship and a rich history. With intricate linear patterns and a vibrant red color, this large rectangular piece is sure to make a bold statement in any room. The antique tapestry, with dimensions of 44 inches in height and 74 inches in length, is a true gem from the Victorian era. Handmade with care and attention to detail, this tapestry is a testament to the skilled artisans of the time period. The Roman style and pearl accents further add to the unique beauty of this piece. A true collectible for any tapestry enthusiast or antique lover.

Two pieces of tapestry style material of same pattern stitched together with separate pattern patch in the centre, the linear design is in pearl dots with lozenge shapes the latter having pearl dot pattern flower head centres. Late 19th early 20th Century. Could be a church hanging
from the late 19th/early 20th century,
if the pearl dots are "genuine pearls"
this will increase the value.
The fact that this has two parts and a
separate pattern centre would
indicate that this has been made as a
wall hanging from disparate parts. I purchased on the Island of Rhodes in 2012 and was told it was made from Roman theatre costumes.                                Dimensions:                                                       43.5 in (H) x 74 in (L) x 0.1875 in (D)
