Here at MadMopeds we only supply parts that we use on our own bikes and our customers bikes and so you can be assured of them being of good quality.

These impossible to find internal fuel tank filters are for use on the fittings inside the fuel tank of your

* Kawasaki ER500, ER5 Twister 1997 to 2000

* Kawasaki EL250 Eliminator

* Kawasaki KLX650 C 1994

NOTE.... PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE UNLESS YOU HAVE LOOKED AT YOUR TANK AND PIPING SET UP.

YOU ARE BUYING THE PLASTIC FILTERS ONLY AND NOT THE SCREW FITTING OR O RING SEAL SHOWN IN THE IMAGES.

We sell new O Ring Seals separately.

These are good quality filters with a very fine mesh and are suitable to push inside the screw fittings that screw into the fuel tank.

You are buying 2 two filters that are 36 mm long, 7.5mm outside diameter to push inside the tap body casting

These will be a good tight fit and will not fall out but you may need to slightly reduce the outside diameter using sandpaper

Before you reduce them try this first... Warm the plastic end up with boiling hot water and try and push the filter in. Only heat the thicker plastic end 😊

Some sellers have heated up the fitting in boiling water before pushing the plastic filters inside.

DO NOT use heat guns on these filters. They will melt as they are really fine filter mesh.

Note --- We also have filters in other sizes for other bike tanks and fuel taps too. Please message us with the size of the hole in your fittings or fuel tap casting and the brass tube (measure very accurately please with calipers)

We also sell replacement vacuum fuel taps for the ER500 and we can also supply you with the best quality heavy wall thickness fuel pipe and stainless steel clips to suit your bike. Our pipe is E5 and E10 petrol compliant so please see our other listings if you need some.
