a FABULOUS, ORIGINAL 1920's Jazz Age/Gatsby skull cap.

This Juliet style FLAPPER'S cap is decorated with metallic sequins and glass beads on cotton tulle. The sequins act a little like mirrors and the colours change from a dak blue to dark gold, silver or bronze depending on the light.

Hand made with real metallic (not plastic) sequins stitched onto a cotton tulle base. The panels are trimmed with tiny glass beads.

REALLY hard to find an ORIGINAL piece like this in such FANTASTIC CONDITION!

ALL the sequins seem to be there and there are NO HOLES; NO PULLS; NO MISSING beads or sequins. The original woven label is still attached that reads "MADE IN FRANCE".

Museum quality and ideal as an addition to ANY good clothing or hat collection. Would also make a real statement piece for a wedding or gala event!

It is a small size that fits snuggly to the top of my head. It needs a hat pin or similar to keep in place.

The circumference of the rim is approx. 54.5cm.

The depth is 13cm and the width is 20cm when folded.
