Large Antique Metal WMF IKORA Rudolf Rieger Bauhaus Art Deco Vase Germany Signed

Beautiful example of German Art Deco and very large 18-1/2'' (47cm) tall vase! Designed by Rudolf Rieger for WMF Ikon Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik Ikora, has WMF signature on base. 

This vase designed was designed by Rudolf Rieger is numbered "14_RR" on page 59 of the book "WMF IKORA METALLWORK
from the 1920s to the 1960s" by Carlo Burschel and Heinz Scheiffele - description in the book reads "green and red fire patina with fine silver inlay decoration variants" Vase is a non-ferrous metal (magnet does not stick) I believe brass, wonderful engraved pattern of figures and animals with fine silver inlay. 

Rudolf Rieger was in Paul Haustein’s master class and worked as self-employed goldsmith in Stuttgart. Between 1920 and 1930 he submitted designs for metal objects to WMF AG and from 1940 until 1941 he was the master instructor at the WMF art-metal division.

Condition: This piece is tricky photograph due to size, know that the most noticeable wear is photographed clearly, use zoom tool on desktop, feel free to ask for additional photos of an area or any other questions. There are no cracks or restorations to the metal. There is tarnishing and scuffs/ fading to metal in some areas, most significant and noticed on chrome areas (legs of one figure, most of doe/ deer near that same figure) (legs of second figure, most of the body of the dog seated near that figure). Other wear to chrome is smaller and less significant,  other imperfections from age, some pitting and tarnishing/ imperfections to areas. Some tarnishing/ fading to chrome rim.
