- Maxim was founded by Felix Dennis in the U.K. in 1995 and expanded to the U.S. in 1997
- Issues come from a non-smoking household
- Most issues are in excellent condition
- These are readers copies so no bags and boards
- Some have subscriber information as can be seen in the photos
- Issues #147, 157 and 181 show very noticeable smudging on the cover due to being stacked
- Issue #189 (Paulina Gretzky cover) has a damaged spine from where a "last issue, renew now" cover had been peeled off
