This listing is for a VINTAGE SHARP MINIDISC WALKMAN PLAYER RECORDER MD-MT831, Restored, Works very well. Recording and playback were tested and item works fine. 

No battery is included and I don't know if a battery can be purchased for this model, but you can use it by plugging in a 5v ac/dc adapter which can be bought for around $10 on ebay or local stores might also have them. I can include for $20 extra an original sharp 5v ac/dc adapter 240v european plug model. Send me a message if you want one.

Please note: Only what is visible in the photos is included. This is an used item and might have scratches and marks that might not all be visible in the photos.

PLEASE NOTE: This walkman has been restored so it is guaranteed to work properly. Type of restoration done: small plastic gear wheel that moves the laser was glued in place so it won't come loose, this is a common problem for many sharp minidisc players: even though the player might read discs because the wheel has not cracked yet, it won't be long before it does crack and you can no longer use your player. I have had this model brand new in the box and wouldn't read discs because the wheel has cracked due to age so it was required to be glued to make the player work again, many sharp models I have seen had this problem, so don't buy sharp models unless they were restored first.
