Set of two (2) handmade wooden bookends
Features a handcarved man reading a book, and the upright portion of the bookend is in the shape of a large book
Each man is lightly colored, and one of them has more color than the other so they may or may not have been a matching set originally
The bottoms are lined with green felt so they won't scratch the surface they sit on

These are in good condition all around with the following things to note:
- One of the large upright book backs has a chip on one corner
- On the green felt on the bottom of both pieces someone has written in pen: "From Doug Read 2005"
- One of the men's little books has a small pencil mark on it
- One of the bases has a small chip/discoloration on one corner

All issues photographed - see pics

These measure approximately 6" high x 5.25" wide x 3" deep

I've seen these dated as far back as 1950s but I don't believe them to be that old. They came to me with a large collection of vintage items from the 70s and 80s and I think that would be more accurate, though I could be wrong.
