Nippon Kogaku (Nikon) Nikkor-S 5cm (50mm) f1.4 Lens
with Leica M Infinity Focus Mount Adapter Converted to Sony E Mount.

The Nikon lens is in average condition. The barrel shows wear, and the glass has a little dust, but no other blemishes that I can see.

Someone has taken the Nikon lens and mounted it to an older Leica screw mount infinity focus adapter, then it's mounted to a generic LTM to M adapter (please note that the adapter will not couple with the rangefinder on a Leica M body). Then the lens is mounted on a   Sony E adapter.

PLEASE NOTE! OTHER THAN TO TEST THE FOCUSING RANGE OF THE LENS I HAVE NOT USED THIS LENS.  IT WAS PART OF A LARGE LOT OF LENSES I BOUGHT FROM A GRAPHIC PRODUCTION DESIGNER WHO SOUGHT OUT LENSES THAT WERE CONSIDERED OF SUPERIOR OPTICAL QUALITY. MANY OF WHICH HE ADAPTED TO USE ON OTHER FILM AND DIGITAL CAMERA BODIES

I took several images with a Sony Nex-5 to try to figure out what the range is for the lens. The range seems to be about 4 feet to infinity. I only noted the distance from the Kodak block and the grain elevator. I took several other images at various distances, but I did not keep track of the actual distance. The paper sign and the Kodak block (sorry the block is not included with the listing) I were about 4 feet from the camera and the grain elevator (I'm sorry, but the grain elevator is also not included with the listing) was about 388 feet from the camera and the focusing ring was almost at infinity. I tried to find something that was far enough away to so that infinity would be in focus, but my building is located in the downtown area of a small city in Minnesota, and I was not able to get a clear line of sight to the maximum range of the focusing ring.
