Item 7278. Antique Atwater Kent Radio Receiver W/External Speaker. The receiver is in very good condition. The case is pressed steel painted with brown wrinkle paint. It is not missing any knobs or switches. The paint does have a few small paint chips and flakes. It still has all four of the bottom legs. It also has the original brass Atwater Kent name plate attached to the top. It measures 17 1/2" x 11" x 7" tall. It is fairly heavy. I did plug it in and the tubes did light up. I don't believe there are any missing components on the inside. It is a Model 40 receiver. The speaker is a model L. It is also in very good condition with no surface corrosion. It is also made of pressed steel. I have not tested the speaker. It has been mounted to a wooden stand and looks to be ready for use. It is also painted a brown wrinkle. The speaker stands 20 1/2" tall. Both the  receiver and speaker have the older fabric coated cords. Both are in good condition. It also comes with an instruction book, new tube list and a radio parts list. Please view all the photos as they are part of the description. Good luck and thanks for looking.
