Manufactured in the 1950s, This beautiful near mint coral set is a joy to hold or display. No scratches, cracks, scuffs, brassing or personalization. Pen fill properly and write with a fine octanium nib. Pen measures 5 3/8 inch capped, 4 5/8 inch uncapped and 5 9/16 inch posted. The Liquid Lead pencil needs a refill replacement (3.1 inch) which can be obtained from Pentooling.com. The replacement uses a water based ink which can be erased with a plastic eraser. Standard red rubber eraser will not erase this ink.

At 85 I'm selling some of the hundreds of pens in my collection. All have been refurbished when I bought them, and are filled, not dipped (except where mint or other stated problems prevent it) written with and tested again when I put them up for sale. I am very careful to show every aspect of the pens, so nothing is left to the imagination. My descriptions and close up photos go the extra mile, so please examine them carefully. Never, ever put drafting ink such as India ink or Carters drawing ink in the pen. It will ruin the pen. Only fountain pen ink, of which there are  endless choices available. If you are bidding on a lever fill fountain pen, remember that to fully fill the sac, after immersing the nib and a little of the section in ink and returning the lever to its closed position, count to ten before withdrawing the pen from the ink, to give the sac enough time to fill. International bidders please note that my free shipping applies only to addresses in the United States of America. Shipment to foreign addresses, is handled by my global shipper, who handles all the customs requirements, fees and paperwork as well as the balance of the shipping outside the US. Charges for those foreign import fees and services are added at the time of checkout.

Pens valued at $75 or more ae shipped encased in Schedule #40 plastic pipe for protection, Priority 2-day by USPS.
