The Garmin GPS 17-N is a rugged and water resistant GPS antenna/receiver. Perfectly adapted to using in marine.

Works with several units such as GARMIN GPSMAP 2006 2006C 2010 etc.

-12-channel to continuously track  all visible satellites.

-WAAS capable with a great position accuracy.

- Great EMI/RFI performance.

- Y cable for both external power supply with a 5521 plug and serial 9 pin connection.

This serial connector also gives you the option to use other controllers including Timble TSC series, Recons etc with GPS data acquisition software. I did use this with both Trimble TSC2 and RECON with SoloField installed. It works great.

This comes with two 6600 mAh lithium batteries with the charger. The batteries are old so the buyer should be prepared to replace them.
