Vintage KitchenAid Hobart Food Chopper Meat Grinder - "FG" Model Rare, All Metal (Aluminum and Steel Construction) - New Stainless Steel Grind Plates - Seller Refurbished
Seller Refurbished - In excellent condition for its age and completely refurbished. Some scuffs on the aluminum housing but all else in great shape and fully functions. The grinder is sanitized, lubricated and fully refurbished. New coarse and fine stainless steel grinder plates and plastic spacer included. It appears to be rarely used and nearly new in condition. Includes copy of original instruction and use guide. Mixer shown in pictures is not part of this listing. You are buying a vintage food chopper / grinder mixer attachment only.
This FG attachment was purchased in the 1960s and was used little and then stored for years. It was manufactured by Hobart Corporation of Troy, OH for KitchenAid and is built to last a life time.
This FG attachment fits all KitchenAid stand mixers manufactured by Hobart and/or Whirlpool as well as Hobart mixers with the #10 attachment hub (N50 and C100; 5 Qt. and 10 Qt. respectively).
This FG packages come will all of the original parts including the following:
- Grinder Housing - Cast aluminum
- Auger - Cast aluminum and steel
- Cutting Blade - Carbon steel
- Course Grinding Plate - New Stainless Steel Aftermarket Plate
- Fine Grinding Plate - New Stainless Steel Aftermarket Plate
- Plastic spacer needed for stainless steel plates (place between housing and drive shaft)
- Locking Wheel - Cast aluminum
- Hardwood Food Pusher
- Photocopy of original KitchenAid instructions and use card.
All parts are made out of burnished aluminum and or alloy steel. The unit overall is very heavy unlike the newer FG-A plastic replacement.
