At Autostyle we pride ourselves on our in house embroidery service. The GTI motif is embroidered on a piece of felt, on which we iron a sticky backing. With the use of a high frequency welding machine the embroidered badge is then welded onto the mats, which ensures the permanent fixture of the motif and giving it the embossed look which is most visible on our thickest premier carpet.

The GTI motif is available in a choice of colours: Black with Silver outline, Blue with Silver outline, Red with Silver outline or all Silver. The size of the motif is approximately 13 x 4 cm (5 x 1 ½ inches).The mats will be supplied with the motif on both front mats, positioned vertical along the sill, which is the most visible and cleanest location.

These tailored car mats are available in 3 different carpet qualities:

A. Standard: (there is nothing standard about this actually) this is a good quality needle punch automotive carpet, pile height: approx. 4 mm, total height: approx. 6.5 mm, total weight: 2100 g/m2, perfect for all day use for smaller budgets, supplied with an extra carpet heel pad on the driver side for longer life, these mats will be finished with a cloth binding

B. Luxury: this is our mid-range carpet, a hardwearing tufted velour cut-pile automotive carpet, pile height: approx. 5 mm, total height: approx. 6 mm, total weight: 2100 g/m2, supplied with an extra carpet heel pad on the driver side for longer life, finished with a leatherette binding

C. Premier: very hardwearing tufted velour cut-pile automotive carpet, soft to touch, pile height: approx. 7 mm, total height: approx. 10 mm, total weight: 2400 g/m2, no heel pad as carpet is hardwearing as it is, finished with a leather look binding. A bit more of an investment as car mats go, but we can assure you, you won’t regret buying these as you will only get back to us when you have bought a new car. (We really should consider reducing the quality of our car mats as we are losing out on return sales as the average car owner in the UK keeps their car for up to six years!!)

You can choose the colour for the binding on the mats as well: Black, Blue, Bright Red or Silver (Cloth for Standard mats, Leatherette for both our Luxury and Premier carpet range)

All our mats are machine cut and hand finished by experienced machinists in the UK and made to order to your specification, so they will take a few working days to make, but good things come to those who wait!! The mats have a non-slip backing and will be supplied with the VW stud fixing rings on both front and rear mats to match the securing studs in the floor
